This deep, generously proportioned seat, is the place to sink into for tea after a long day in the garden or curling up with your cat and a book on lazy sunny days.

Make room for a couple of these laid back chaps in a quiet haven of the garden, for morning coffee or evening golden hour – its companion, the folding Side Table, might come in hand for stray gin and tonics…

Uniformly machined wooden slats form a comfortable shaped seat and backrest, which can be upgraded with one our outdoor cushions made from Sunbrella, UV resistant fabric.

For those who prefer to stretch out entirely, a matching footrest clips neatly beneath the seat, transforming the chair into a full-length Recliner available here. This extended version, along with the two- and three-seater Recliner Benches, forms a family of pieces designed for intimate garden corners and quiet terraces. This chair is able to fold for storage or transport.

Timber slats are secured to the metal frame with solid brass or stainless steel screws. The following timbers are available:

natural Karri

Karri is a hard dense, timber, light pinkish brown to dark brown in colour.
It assumes an attractive silver grey colour in approx.
6 months when left untreated and exposed to the elements.

natural Massaranduba

A hard-wearing timber that maintains its surface texture with age.
It has a natural deep rich, red colour, which eventually fades to a
desirable patinated grey with time.

painted Karri

Karri slats are also available in the following painted colours

Rust

Metal components are acid-dipped and left to oxidise (rust).
They are brushed down and coated with a wax sealer to prevent brush off marks.

NOTE: this finish will leave rust marks on paving and is not recommended for coastal situations.

Galvanised

Metal components are hot dip galvanised, but unpainted.
They are bright and silver when new, but soon assume a soft lead grey colour as they age.

This finish is recommended for furniture in close proximity to the sea.

Painted

Galvanised frames are also available in the following painted colours.
