The clean lines of the Trestle Table have made it a popular choice for a variety of settings. Inspired by the trestle tables used by Victorian interior designers, it carries forward their original function of portability. This makes the smaller sizes practical options for holiday homes or spaces where the 3 part table table need be dismantled for storage or moving. Together with the Trestle Benches, it offers a pleasing arrangement for family meals and gatherings.
It consists of a pair of forged trestle legs of riveted heavy flat section steel, braced laterally by a substantial round bar section. The trestle table surface is made of wide planks, cleated on the underside and has 4 steel brackets on the sides to locate the legs and hold it in place.

natural Massaranduba
A hard-wearing timber that maintains its surface texture with age.
It has a natural deep rich, red colour, which eventually fades to a desirable patinated grey with time.

Rust
Metal components are acid-dipped and left to oxidise (rust).
They are brushed down and coated with a wax sealer to prevent brush off marks.
NOTE: this finish will leave rust marks on paving and is not recommended for coastal situations.
Galvanised
Metal components are hot dip galvanised, but unpainted.
They are bright and silver when new, but soon assume a soft lead grey colour as they age.
This finish is recommended for furniture in close proximity to the sea.
