The Scandinavian chair, with its simple design and clean lines, capture a clear graphic structure that is characteristic of Scandinavian design. Equally at home in both contemporary and traditional settings.

The Scandinavian chair consists of a forged and riveted folding metal frame. A single steam-bent wooden backrest, with a crescent cut-out, facilitates an ergonomic handhold on the broad back. The two piece wooden seat is tapered for comfort and prevents water accumulation.

Rust

Metal components are acid-dipped and left to oxidise (rust).
They are brushed down and coated with a wax sealer to prevent brush off marks.

NOTE: this finish will leave rust marks on paving and is not recommended for coastal situations.

Galvanised

Metal components are hot dip galvanised, but unpainted.
They are bright and silver when new, but soon assume a soft lead grey colour as they age.

This finish is recommended for furniture in close proximity to the sea.

Painted

Galvanised frames are also available in the following painted colours.

Painted frames are not recommended in close proximity to the sea.

natural Massaranduba

A hard-wearing timber that maintains its surface texture with age.
It has a natural deep rich, red colour, which eventually fades to a desirable patinated grey with time.
